Description
Building on the success of the standard Gravelking and Gravelking SK tires, both category leaders Gravel, Panaracer has developed the next generation, the Gravelking SS. Designed as a rolling tire rapide, suitable for racing and dry conditions, it is intended for riders who want to go fast while maintaining good control, traction and hill climbing ability.
The SS features an all-new tread pattern, consisting of a smoother, diamond-shaped center profile with more aggressive side blocks. This tread design allows the driver to maintain speed through turns and control for any changes in direction that gravel driving might offer. The Gravelking SS features a soft 120 TPI casing with a puncture-resistant nylon belt and Panaracer's own ZSG (Zero Slip Grip) compound.
Anti-flat casing
Anti-puncture reinforcement throughout the tire enhances cut and crush resistance.
AX-Alpha Cord
AX technology uses extremely narrow cords, woven into the casing at a very high density for lightness and flexibility. This increased density improves cut and abrasion resistance.
PR (Puncture Resistant) Belt
The PR belt is a puncture resistant belt located under the tread. It is lightweight and gets its puncture resistant properties from a strong fibrous composite material.
ProTite Shield + Plus
A heavy-duty reinforcement material is placed around the entire tire, with nylon covering the tread, providing additional protection against sidewall cuts, as well as rim punctures and pitting.
TLC (tubeless compatible)
When used with a tire sealant, the tire can be used tubeless.
Note: Tubeless Ready tires require Tubeless compatible rims and wheels as well as Tubeless valves, Tubeless rim strips and sealing fluid. Sealing fluid is not required for UST Tubeless tires, but we recommend it because of the increased protection against punctures. The installation of tubeless tires is not always easy and should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
