D3O protection
D3O mobilizes patented, patent-pending and proprietary technologies to manufacture malleable, flexible, stress-reactive materials with high energy absorption capacities. The basic D3O technology applies non-Newtonian fluid mechanics to materials designed for shock absorption. The non-Newtonian materials stiffen in the face of impact to dissipate energy and reduce force transmission, before returning to their original suppleness.
