The airy mesh material is made from 100% recycled polyester, which is durable and tough, providing good stability and won't twist when pressing on the pedal. The material is reinforced around the ankle for added comfort; the pre-shaped reinforcements at the heel and toes offer extra protection against abrasion. The laces securely attach under the Lace Bungees (elastic rubber flaps) to prevent getting caught in the chain. The SUPtraction® R20 sole made of 20% recycled rubber features a removable rubber cap, allowing the shoe to be quickly transformed into a clipless pedal. Its medium stiffness (V-Flow 5) provides high walking comfort while ensuring effective force transfer on the pedal.
