Met Headset Intercity Mips

The new Intercity Mips enhances head protection by adding a wide and adjustable visor that shields the eyes from wind, dust, and insects. It makes riding an electric bike safer and life in the city better.

NTA 8776 CERTIFICATION
The Intercity Mips is certified NTA 8776. The NTA certification is the world's first certification developed specifically for electric bike users. It allows the helmet to dissipate significantly more energy upon impact. An additional 10% of the EPS shell is tested for impact around the two most sensitive areas of the brain (the back and the temples), and the impact speed tested is 21% higher compared to traditional processes. In short, the Intercity Mips is one of the safest helmets on the market.

MIPS PROTECTION SYSTEM
Using the MIPS-C2® rational impact management system, the MET Intercity Mips is able to slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add protection to the classic helmet construction against certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort foam and the EPS.

USB LED MAGNETIC LIGHT
The MET USB LED Magnetic Light is attached to one of the rear parts of the helmet to ensure the highest level of visibility in all conditions. A magnetic system makes attachment to the shell simple and secure while allowing the light to be easily removable and rechargeable via a USB-C port. The light is waterproof, and the 25 LED lights have four lighting modes: steady red mode, flashing red mode, red strobe, and an automatic night mode indicated by a steady blue LED. The battery lasts up to 8 hours and a full charge takes one hour.

COMFORT
The Intercity Mips is exceptionally comfortable and secure thanks to a refined internal shape and a new MET Safe-T Heta retention system that offers a full and personalised fit. The straps are well positioned and adjustable thanks to strap dividers designed for reliability and ease of use. The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes fastening the helmet simple, while the strap padding ensures perfect comfort.
