Designed to maintain a consistent chain gap across all seven gears, X-HORIZON eliminates vertical movement for faster shifting, reduced shifting force and an end to ghost shifting. Our new Type 3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH features a smoother torque curve for a quieter, smoother operation and feel. The 12-tooth X-SYNC pulley wheel holds the chain in place, reducing bounce and chain slap. And CAGE LOCK™ technology makes removing and installing the wheel easier than ever. Paired with the X01 DH 7-speed derailleur, X-HORIZON™ is the backbone of X-ACTUATION technology and that means a completely smooth shifting action.
