The gravity tyre Maxxis HIGH ROLLER III sits between the Assegai and the Shorty; this third generation of the High Roller combines an open central tread pattern and large side knobs strategically placed to withstand extreme cornering forces. It's a hybrid tread design that offers the ground penetration of a mid-studded tyre in wet conditions while maintaining cornering control and traction on hard surfaces like a dry conditions tyre. The High Roller III was developed to meet the demands of modern downhill riding and has already won at Mont Sainte Anne with Jackson Goldstone. This version features a reinforced DH casing that is stiffer and ideal for downhill practice. As part of ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact, the High Roller III will be shipped in new fully recyclable packaging. The cardboard handle is made from 75% post-consumer recycled paper, and recyclable plastic straps replace the current fasteners. Expect more innovations in this area as Maxxis expands the use of recycled materials in tyre manufacturing.
