The Maxxis ASSEGAI, the Signature tyre of Greg Minnaar, is fully dedicated to Enduro, combining the best of the Minion, High Roller II, and DHF. It is named after the iron-tipped spear used by a people in South Africa, a fitting name for a tyre ready to tackle the mountains. It has been designed to enhance traction; this tyre features large block side knobs that provide excellent grip on roots. Its 3C MaxTerra rubber compound and the orientation of its knobs improve traction, rolling efficiency, and braking performance. In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, the tyre is also equipped with an Exo + casing on the sides, providing increased protection against abrasion and cuts.
