When we launched our road technology from scratch, we applied our proven 1:1 activation ratio SRAM on mountain bikes (shifter cable travel: derailleur movement) for 10-speed rear shifting. EA helps simplify/stabilize the complex action of balancing the design of the rear derailleur plate, the small grip space and the perfect cable tension. The result: the easiest shifting system to adjust and it stays that way. Imagine being able to shift smoothly at any time, regardless of the conditions. We're talking full power shifting.
