1.3 adjustment chip for Bafang

Basic tuning chip for your electric bike with Bafang motor.
Compatible with motors using UART and CAN protocols.
SpeedBox 1.3 allows you to double your electric bike's speed limit from the original 25 km/h to 50 km/h. After installing the chip, actual data of up to 23 km/h will display on your electric bike's screen.

How does SpeedBox 1.3 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 1.3 chip on your electric bike's control panel. After pressing the LIGHT button, the active lights icon briefly appears on the screen, and from then on, you can ride at 50 km/h. To deactivate the chip's function, press the LIGHT button again.

If you want to use SpeedBox alongside the lights, we recommend purchasing a Bafang cable for activating the lights.

Installation
To connect the SpeedBox chip to an electric bike, we use colour-coded connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the chip really easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you on how to install SpeedBox. Removing the chip is as simple as installing it. If you have connection issues, feel free to contact us.

If you want SpeedBox on a new bike, you need to ride at least 1 kilometre on the bike first.
