SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM
The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is a wide, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermoformed EVA cushion that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is adjustable on both sides to perfectly center the EVA cushion on a high or low instep. The system eliminates the need for a high instep expander. The SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM is replaceable.
TECNO-3 PUSH SYSTEM
The TECNO-3 PUSH SYSTEM consists of dials that adjust along the entire length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. The SIDI closures, known to be reliable and replaceable, are enhanced with an all-new proprietary material, SIDI Wire, which is completely non-binding for intuitive, effortless adjustments on the fly. The TECNO-3 PUSH can be adjusted while riding, thanks to an innovative button that can be pushed to lift the buckle for easy adjustment.
TECNO-3 PUSH SIMPLE
The central mechanism, creates a perfect tension balance between the inner and outer side of the shoe. The symmetrical mechanism guarantees an excellent closure that adapts to each instep. An innovative button added to the monofilament buckle, when pushed, lifts the buckle to facilitate the adjustment.
HEEL RETENTION DEVICE
The ADJUSTABLE HEEL RETENTION DEVICE reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe around the rider's heel. The heel retainer reinforces the top of the heel cup so the heel doesn't slip off during climbs or sprints. Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently for a perfect fit. For custom adjustment, turn the screw toward the + sign to tighten the heel retainer and toward the - sign to open it. Lightweight, easy to use and replaceable.
SIDI HEEL CUP
Reinforced cup stabilizes and supports the heel. Anatomically shaped plastic, reduces heel slip and provides increased power transfer. Provides additional foot protection in the event of an accident.
RUBBER TOE
The upper part of the toe section is rubberized to resist and deflect impacts from rocks or debris while cycling. It is made of non-slip rubber.
MTB SRS CARBON-GROUND SOLE
MTB's SRS CARBON-GROUND SOLE raises the bar for mountain bike performance, dropping about 100 grams per pair compared to the previous Dragon Carbon SRS sole without sacrificing power or durability. The MTB SRS CARBON-GROUND Sole features replaceable tread blocks in the toe and heel, attached to a medium modulus carbon sole, as well as the innovative replaceable MTB plate, designed to prevent the sole from being damaged by pedal contact.
MTB SRS CARBON-SOL SOLE
Most Dual-Retention Bar MTB pedals (such as Crankbrothers and LOOK) recommend the use of a reinforcement plate between the cleat and the shoe to prevent cracks or dents in the sole. The MTB plate can be replaced in case of damage caused by the pedal system, so adding the weight of an aftermarket reinforcement plate is optional. The Ground SRS soles and the MTB plate are easily removable and replaceable. The SRS CARBON-GROUND sole of the MTB is compatible with cleats.
