These chains are compatible with all 9-speed road and MTB drivetrains on the market. The unique outer plate design offers the best shifting performance of any chain in this series. The inner link of the 9sX model is made of high strength stainless steel which increases the life of the chain by up to 20%. All 9-speed chains can be easily opened and closed by hand with the supplied Connex Link. The Connex chains are compatible with all existing drivetrains: narrow and light for racing bikes, durable and corrosion resistant for mountain bikes. Chains for bikes with traditional narrow drivetrains are available, as well as chains for wider integrated gear hubs, for BMX and singlespeed. To ensure outstanding handling and shifting performance, as well as a long service life, we use only the highest quality raw materials and coatings for all our bicycle chains. Hollow pins make the top models of the 10 and 9-speed series extremely light - e.g. the 10s1 weighs only 260g / 110 links.
