Any serious rider knows which cycling apparel brand has won the most time trial medals since July 2012. For those riders, Bioracer has developed an individual version of its medal-winning Speedmaster TT suit: the Speedwear Concept Aerosuit.
The suit is made from a combination of New Monica and our aerodynamic Stripe fabric. The main fabric has been slightly modified with Speedsilk, a fabric technology that improves the aerodynamics of regular Lycra fabric.
The sleeves have a new and improved aerodynamic cut and are made of a more efficient aerodynamic fabric, Stripe. The cut and fabric are derived from our widely acclaimed Speedmaster speed suit. Since London 2012, it's been the most copied and successful speed suit, a pedigree to be proud of.
The Vapor Men cushion is part of our latest generation of cushions, and it represents a big step forward in terms of breathability and cushioning. The main research question during development was how to improve the cushioning needed to cope with the stiffness of carbon bikes without adding extra material for protection. The result: Vapor technology.
The cushion materials consist of a breathable, friction-reducing top layer. Two middle layers provide breathability and moisture transport. The main layer is where the magic happens. We use Evapore, which is a 3D webbing with better cushioning qualities. When stressed, Evapore transforms into a rubbery state, so even when compressed to its maximum, it continues to cushion. In addition, this material is hydrophobic, which means that it transports perspiration. The cushion remains dry at all times.
