- The Maxxis Ikon is a versatile XC tyre designed to perform in a wide range of conditions. With its predictable handling, the Ikon is also a favourite among our downhill cyclists.
- EXO Sidewall Protection: This is a cut and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis mountain and gravel bike tyres. This dense fabric is lightweight and very flexible, ensuring that the tyre's performance is not affected. Choose EXO protection for increased durability on gravel, XC, and light trails.
- Tubeless Ready (TR): Tubeless tyres offer cyclists many advantages: the ability to use lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tyre with an inner tube; and less risk of punctures in the absence of a tube.
- The new MaxxSpeed Single Compound is the main performance advantage of this new tyre, thanks to its silica compound that enhances rolling while providing grip, even on wet surfaces. This new compound is used in Maxxis's high-end competition tyres, reducing rolling resistance by 25% compared to the old 3C MaxxSpeed compound. This new compound will provide greater longevity to the tyre.
