For the Latch mountain bike shoe, we started with a new fit that brings the foot closer to the pedal and flattens the sole profile, optimizing the contact area between the sole and the pedal. Next, we collaborated with a team of rubber engineers to formulate Tack Rubber, a highly elastic compound that combines grip and durability in our new Gamma tread. Finally, at the heart of the shoe is a performance revelation, Mute Foam, a specially engineered midsole foam with a slow rebound action that reduces noise and vibration to help you stay connected to the pedal, no matter the ruts, roots and rocks. The unique combination of fit, a quick-drying microfiber upper, the grip of Tack rubber and the cushioning of Mute Foam makes Latch a new benchmark in flat pedaling performance.
