Reflective shoes CX146

Cold and damp training sessions don't have to be unpleasant anymore. The CX146 is the answer for those chilly autumn or spring road outings. Designed for mild and wet weather, the CX146 is the perfect shoe for those days when your running shoes just aren't warm enough.

Size suggestion: For use with winter socks, we recommend ordering 1 to 1.5 sizes up from your usual Lake Cycling shoe size.
Fit
CX/TX Sport - Higher cadences and longer ride times typical of road cycling require excellent foot control to avoid hotspots and numbness. With a much tighter fit than any of our off-road shapes, our Sport fit cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This shape features a precisely fitted toe box, a high arch, and a medium width at the forefoot.
Outsole
Injected nylon outsole made of fiberglass for road sports, compatible only with 3-bolt road cleat and pedal systems.

The CX146 is built on the incredible injected nylon fiberglass outsole from Lake. The nylon outsole from Lake is world-renowned for its uncompromising comfort and performance. No other injected nylon outsole offers the same level of stiffness or comfort.
Lining
The upper is made of softshell fabric, water-resistant microfiber, 200g Thinsulate insulation, and a waterproof membrane, making it a highly water-resistant cycling shoe, ideal for various conditions. The Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the flexibility of leather with a significant weight reduction.
Closure
BOA® Fit System M4 dial. The M4 dial is designed for gloves and icy temperatures, defying sand, mud, and ice. Combined with the Click-Fit quick release system, it allows for easy entry and exit.

Water Resistance
The uppers are treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating that will wear off over time. We recommend reapplying a DWR spray 1 to 2 times a year for moderate cyclists and every 2 to 3 wet rides for daily cyclists.
