LOCTITE 222 is a low-strength threadlocker for adjusting set screws, including countersunk and grub screws. Also used on low-strength metals that could shear on disassembly, such as aluminum or brass. Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces). It is designed to tolerate light contamination by industrial oils (e.g. motor oil, rustproofing solutions or cutting fluids).
