This special silicone has the ability to condense on textile and leather fibers by reacting with the hydroxyl and/or amino groups of the fibers using a catalyst already present in TESSUSIL.

This reactive siloxane adheres stably to the fibers, giving the waterproof characteristic of the

silicones, making the treated material waterproof without blocking the pores or gaps between the fibers, allowing them to "breathe" and enabling the passage of gases and vapors.
