Technology overview

At the heart of GORE-TEX fabrics is a state-of-the-art technology that is extremely fine, permanently waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It contains over 1.4 billion pores per cm². Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a raindrop but 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule (sweat). In other words, rain doesn't get in but sweat evaporates. The result: you stay dry in all circumstances.
