Our most dirt-focused Road Plus tire, the Byway Road Plus offers smooth plus-size traction and smooth riding characteristics further into the dirt. The Byway Road Plus tire allows riders to feel comfortable on remote gravel roads without feeling like they are slowing down on the pavement needed to reach them.

Each of our Road Plus models combines a smooth centerline with different levels of outer tread and lugs, offering varying degrees of resiliency and cornering traction to meet specific uses. The high-volume Road offers deceptively svelte performance on the pavement, with resilience that's unshaken by chasing confidents on dusty dirt roads. Slip it into a cross bike, fit it to a road frame, the overall diameter remains the same as a 700 x 30mm road tire. Ride on asphalt, but also on dirt. - Fits today's endurance frames: The Road Plus retains the same geometry as existing endurance bikes, but adds a 650b tubeless wheel and tire in place of a 700c. Because the 650b x 47c TCS Road Plus tires have the same overall wheel diameter as a 700 x 30c tire, they only require a little more clearance at the base than a traditional road tire. Pair it with a Ci24 Carbon or KOM i23/i25 650b TCS rim and you've got a lightweight, high-volume, fast-rolling setup without having to go back to the drawing board for frame design.
