Reliable third-generation tuning chip for your Giant electric bike
The tuning SpeedBox 3.2 allows for arbitrary configuration of electric speed limiters. After installing the tuning, you will be able to view actual values such as maximum speed, average speed, daily mileage, and range.

How does SpeedBox 3.2 work?
The tuning activation/deactivation must always be done before getting on the bike, not during the ride!

To activate the SpeedBox chip, briefly activate the WALK function on the electric bike's control unit. The electric bike's screen will briefly display 5.0 km/h (3.1 mph) and from that moment, you will be able to ride at a speed of 50 km/h. You can change the default speed limit to any limit (up to 99 km/h), but to minimise the risk of error codes, we recommend not exceeding 50 km/h.

To deactivate the chip function, reactivate the WALK function. The screen will display 2.5 km/h (1.6 mph) and the speed limit of 25 km/h will be reactivated. The electric bike will operate as it did before the chip installation.

We are also prepared for electric bikes that do not have a classic control panel with the Walk button. In this case, simply use the button combination - + - + and this will activate SpeedBox. Similarly, it can be deactivated.

To set the maximum speed, you can toggle between the following modes: Turbo - EMTB - Tour - Eco - Tour - EMTB - Turbo. The current speed limiter will then be displayed. To change the maximum speed, press the WALK button briefly or turn the dial 360°. A display of 1.5 km/h corresponds to the limit of 15 km/h, 2.0 corresponds to the limit of 20 km/h, 2.5 corresponds to 25 km/h, 3.0 corresponds to 30 km/h, 5.0 corresponds to 50 km/h, etc. The last displayed limit is retained after five seconds of inactivity.

When using SpeedBox, the electric bike must be switched on at the end of the ride until the screen consistently shows 0.0 km/h. During this phase, the screen will show the remaining time. Then, you can safely turn off the bike and look forward to the next ride.

Installation
To connect the SpeedBox to an electric bike, we use coloured connectors equipped with a key for proper connection, making the product really easy to install. You can download the instructions or watch videos that will guide you on how to install SpeedBox. Removing the product is just as easy as installing it. If you encounter a connection problem, feel free to contact us.

If you want SpeedBox on a new bike, you need to ride at least 10 kilometres on the bike first.

You can find detailed information on installing the product here.
