Campagnolo Tape Super Record X 13

Building on the experience gained with Ekar 13s, Campagnolo presents a new generation of cassettes designed for the Super Record 13 group, aimed at ensuring even smoother, faster, more precise, and quieter gear shifting. Thanks to space optimization and the use of a 13-speed chain, it has been possible to add an extra gear without altering the standard freehub body: the standard N3W type is indeed retained, without adapters or dedicated hubs.

The new tooth profiling, along with the Black Chrome surface finish, improves the quality of silence, reduces wear, and increases durability. The range of gears has been recalibrated for the use of a single chainring, ensuring a smooth and even progression without excessive jumps: the cadence remains consistent and agile, even in the toughest conditions. The reduced difference between the sprockets optimizes effort management, helping the athlete to enhance performance and reduce fatigue.

The cassettes are available in two configurations, designed to adapt to different types of courses:
- 9-42: 9-10-11-12-13-14-16-18-21-25-30-36-42
- 10-48: 10-11-12-13-14-16-18-21-25-30-36-42-48

The structure includes an initial monoblock with the first 3 sprockets, followed by 5 or 6 independent central sprockets (depending on the configuration) and a final monoblock made up of 4 sprockets for the 9/42 configuration or 5 sprockets for the 10/48 configuration.

With Super Record 13, an extra sprocket is not just a number: it means more choices, smoother transitions, always perfect cadence, and a superior riding experience.

The SR13 cassettes, like the entire platform, adopt the N3W freehub body, confirming the total interchangeability of components and ease of use without requiring specific adapters or hubs. These teeth, the most generous of the SR13 platform, are only compatible with the Super Record X rear derailleur, dedicated to the world of gravel or a hybrid 1x road setup.
