The LXSDL brings back those fun days of mountain biking. Built on our Comfort Plus last, the Lake LXSDL is designed as a cycling sandal for adventurers, bike-packers, casual cyclists, and commuters, where comfort is the main priority. It’s a cycling sandal that allows your wider feet to spread out.
With a genuine rubber sole compatible with SPD, a durable microfiber upper and strap, and a reinforced heel for stability, the LXSDL is a reimagining of a classic cycling sandal from Lake, with a cool vibe for those days of loose shorts, t-shirts, and adventure time.

MX Comfort Plus Last - Featuring our Comfort Plus Last with a wider, open toe box, protected by a rubber bumper. The unique microfiber and strap construction gives you a generous forefoot platform that adapts to various foot shapes. The Comfort Plus Last does exactly what you expect, providing the perfect balance between cycling stability and all-day riding comfort during those sunny summer days, as well as the ability to walk with the bike in complete comfort.
The LXSDL also comes with two separate insoles. It has a flat EVA insole at the bottom and a molded insole on top, allowing for a more or less significant volume adjustment in the shoe, depending on your ideal fit.
The LXSDL sandal features a genuine rubber and EVA Enduro sole that’s SPD compatible, with a semi-rigid nylon midsole. It boasts the legendary injected nylon and fiberglass sole formula from Lake, with a brand new design offering incredible grip on all surfaces, along with exceptional durability for all-day cycling.
There’s often a necessary balance between biking and walking on trails, and the LXSDL is designed to give you the stability needed on all types of mixed terrain, along with the confidence of our legendary comfort during your city rides. An optional pedal cover is sold separately.
The microfiber upper sections and strap design have been well thought out to ensure your foot stays stable, creating that all-important power, while allowing you to feel the freedom and relaxed vibe that cycling sandals give your feet.
Thanks to the firm and secure heel design, it’s also easy to clip in and out of the SPD during those necessary walking sections. The forefoot area of the LXSDL also features a reinforced bumper, protecting your precious feet from rocks and bumps, while you relax and enjoy the ride!
