Technology overview

At the heart of GORE-TEX fabrics lies an advanced technology that is extremely fine, durable, waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It contains more than 1.4 billion pores per cm². Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule (sweat). In other words, rain cannot penetrate, but sweat evaporates. The result: you stay dry in all circumstances.
