Technology overview

At the heart of GORE-TEX fabrics lies a cutting-edge technology that is extremely thin, durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It contains over 1.4 billion pores per cm². Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule (sweat). In other words, rain does not penetrate but sweat evaporates.
