Technology Overview

At the heart of GORE-TEX fabrics lies a cutting-edge technology that is extremely fine, permanently waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It contains over 1.4 billion pores per cm². Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water but 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapour (sweat). In other words, rain does not penetrate but sweat evaporates. The result: you stay dry in all circumstances.
