This bike shoe has no chance against rain and claims a sustainable approach from start to finish. The waterproof bike shoe is an essential accessory for cycle touring or multi-day trips, even in very bad weather. The 100% recycled Sympatex® membrane is fully waterproof and breathable, ensuring a pleasant climate inside the shoe even during challenging stages. The durable upper material of this eco-friendly cycling shoe is made from 100% recycled polyester. The Velcro lacing system provides perfect support that can be tightened or loosened as desired. The pre-shaped reinforcements at the heel and toes ensure stability and additional protection against abrasion. The innovative SUPtraction® R20 sole made from 20% recycled rubber also offers a grippy profile in wet conditions, as well as high walking comfort and efficient power transmission to the pedal, thanks to the medium stiffness (V-Flow 5) of the sole. The removable rubber cover is compatible with all common SPD clip systems. The bike shoe is treated with an environmentally friendly Eco Finish that is free from fluorocarbons (PFC). The Green Shape label from VAUDE guarantees an ecological, functional product made from sustainable materials.
